For kids and their families, there is no place like Bucktail Family Fun Park and Camping Resort for non-stop summer fun. It’s more than a campground, it’s a theme park you sleep in!

Located on one hundred scenic acres in north central Pennsylvania, Bucktail Park will keep you busy no matter what your interest or energy level. We’ve got amusement rides. We’ve got an Active Kids (are there any other kind?) Playground. There’s volleyball, basketball, swimming and miniature golf. There’s even a game room and entertainment pavilion.

Bucktail offers spacious camp sites in wooded or open areas. There are accommodations for campers of every stripe: tents, trailers and motor homes are all welcome. Each site has a roomy table for picnics and a fire ring for cozy evening story-telling. Campers can wash up in our clean, modern restrooms with free hot showers.

Bucktail offers a variety of fun-filled weekend programs. Interested in live snakes, alligators and other reptiles? Rock concerts? How about a chocolate festival? Bucktail summer weekend events include these and many more. Come to our trade, swap and sell weekend or bring your Matchbox cars for the Bucktail 500 race. Food, fun, games and concerts – there’s a always something cooking at Bucktail Family Fun Park and Camping Resort.

Beyond the grounds, you can explore beautiful Tioga County. A trail ride through “Canyon County” on horseback is an unforgettable experience. For the train enthusiast, the Tioga Central Railroad – known as Pennsylvania’s most scenic railroad – operates along a thirty-four mile line. Old-fashioned paddlewheel riverboat cruises are also available nearby.

Nearby museums offer a taste of Pennsylvania history and wildlife. The Pennsylvania Lumber Museum celebrates the rich history and colorful culture of the forest industry. Animaland Zoological Park is home to over two hundred exotic, wild, and domestic animals located on over twelve landscaped acres.

Bucktail Family Fun Park and Camping Resort is the number one summer fun destination for families. Come and enjoy all that we have to offer.
